Application Overview
Parts and selection points for Classic Car Restoration
Restorers and owners of older cars need replacement wheels and cooling parts for models that original manufacturers no longer supply well. Replica wheels and classic steel wheels have to look period-correct and still fit the original hubs. These buyers care most about original look, correct legacy specs, and parts that bolt on without modification.
- Match classic steel wheels to the original specs, e.g. 16-inch PCD 4X100 ET20, so the original hub and brakes fit unchanged.
- Choose replica wheels that copy the original design while using the correct center bore for the vehicle.
- Source radiators by legacy OE number, e.g. OEM16400-03060 for 1993-1997 Japanese models, to keep the original hose routing and mounts.
- Check how the wheel surface finish holds up for cars stored for long periods or used in damp climates.
